Tips for cover letter

Useful pointers for drafting a persuasive and effective cover letter.

For your application to be effective follow the following steps:
Curriculum Vitae

Always up-to-date, prefer a clear, schematic format. Do not include information that is superfluous or that may direct the recruiter to positions that are not of interest to you. Be careful that the contacts you enter are correct, always put a reference to your Linkedin profile and a brief description of your soft skills.

Personal Branding

In today’s age, it is certainly important to pay attention to one’s Social pages. Keep them up-to-date, use them to promote your professional persona, follow profiles in line with your interests and interact in various conversations.

Training

Keep yourself up-to-date, take courses (even in FAD) that can make your professional profile as specialized as possible. Remember that both hard skills and soft skills are essential in a selection process; they will enable you to win over the recruiter.

Letter of Introduction

Always accompany your application with a short cover letter that can enable the recruiter to get to know you better. Highlight your most significant work experience, responsibilities and role. Don’t forget to make the motivation for applying clear.
